Minnesota has A LOT of interest as GREEN BAY saw phone records that FAVRE talked to the Vikings using his GREEN BAY PACKERS issued cell phone...ummm come on Brett...

Unless Brett wanted the packers to know he had interest in going to the Vikes?! Only Green Bay's biggest rival next to DA BEARS!!!

Maybe Favre will end up starting for TAMPA BAY!!

Green Bay should be able to get a nice pick plus a very good player for one of the best QBs ever to play the game.......Brett, just wait it out -- you're the one that threw everyone a "curve"which might lead to an interception instead of a TD!! Not nice man!

The Giants and Saints have agreed to a trade in principle that will send tight end Jeremy Shockey to New Orleans for second- and fifth-round picks in 2009!
Jeremy Shockey is a fan favorite in NY and will be missed but has gotten injured every season.

Jacksonville Jaguars Matt Jones arrested on felony drug charges!!

Fayetteville police say Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones was arrested early Thursday on a felony drug charge after officers found him in a parked car, cutting up what was suspected to be cocaine.

A police report says officers approached the car and found Jones inside, using a credit card to chop up a white substance. Police say an officer drew his handgun after Jones did not immediately show his hands.

Police say they found a jar with possible marijuana residue inside the car and a plastic bag of what was likely cocaine. Officers say Jones admitted he had cocaine.

Well Brett Favre is saying that these are all just RUMORS!!!!
Rumors don't come from nowhere...Brett Favre seems to do this every season but he announced his retirement already! Why do any of this? Brett Favre WAS a great QB and sure he can still play but not win a SUPER BOWL!!!
I'm wondering whether this is all the media or it's actually Favre himself?!?
What does everyone else think....Green Bay is better off moving on!!

Buffalo Bills extend Defensive Tackle, Kyle Williams to a 3 year contract worth almost $14.4 Million

Defensive tackle Kyle Williams signed a three-year contract extension with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday potentially worth $14.4 million.

The two-year starter is now signed through 2012 and is guaranteed $5.2 million over the next two seasons.

"We're very flattered," Williams' agent Albert Elias told The Associated Press. "When you're two years into a contract, these types of extensions aren't normally made.... We're really excited about it." Elias said the Bills contacted him last week to restructure Williams' contract.

The Bills confirmed the new deal, but did not release the terms.

Gun Toting Defensive back, Willie Andrews, released by New England Patriots

The New England Patriots released defensive back Willie Andrews on Tuesday, one day after he was arrested for allegedly pointing a handgun at his girlfriend's head.

The 24-year-old Andrews, primarily a special teams player, was being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing Thursday following his second arrest this year.

The team had issued a statement Monday, saying, "The New England Patriots take the conduct of our players very seriously. We are aware of the very disturbing and alarming reports regarding Willie Andrews. We will not offer any additional comment, as is our policy regarding pending legal matters."

I guess carrying and pointing a gun at someone is way more serious than carrying and pointing a video camera at a team...understandable.
